Summary
This study used cardiopulmonary coupling analysis, which is an electrocardiogram-based technique to quantify physiologic sleep stability. The findings suggested that shortened leukocyte telomere length might contribute to reduced sleep stability by interacting with obstructive sleep apnea severity due to the stress of chronic sleep interruption.
