Summary
Recent exposure to traumatic events predicted telomere loss. This study did not find an association between a measure of lifetime threatening events and telomere length. Nor did it find an association between stressful events in childhood and telomere length in adulthood.

The TeloYears test is not intended for screening, diagnosing, treating or preventing diseases or medical conditions. The performance characteristics of this test were determined by Telomere Diagnostics. It has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
